1984-B

1984-B is a 100% blank companion book designed to work with the original 1984 Book Test. It gives you a blank canvas for developing your own presentations, twists, and impossible finales.

"In Oceania, Big Brother used Telescreens to broadcast the exact same reality to everyone simultaneously. Let's see if we are seeing the same reality."

You and a participant each take one of two identical copies of 1984. They tell you where to stop as you flip through your book, then turn to the same page in theirs. You read the first sentence to confirm that it matches perfectly.

Next, they name any page. You both turn to it, and the final word on each page matches. You repeat this several more times until everyone is completely convinced that the two books are identical.

“But in 1984, history can change in an instant. The Ministry of Truth can make a person, a memory, or even an entire book disappear.”

Hand your copy to another participant and have any page called out. When both books are opened, they discover something impossible: the book you were holding is now completely blank.

Not just the selected page but every single page.
